Use Notes & Snippets
On this page
Keep private working notes beside the composer and reuse saved text in captions.
Before you start
Open the intended workspace before writing. Notes are scoped to your account, workspace and team-member identity.
Open the feature
Open Notes & Snippets from the left sidebar, or choose Publish and open Notes & Snippets from the composer toolbar. Check More tools if it is not pinned.
Steps
- On Notepad, type your reference text and wait for Saved.
- Drag the panel by its header if it covers the caption.
- Use Copy to copy the note, or close the panel to keep writing your post.
- Open Snippets and choose Create snippet or Create new.
- Enter a Name and Snippet text, then choose Create.
- Search for a saved snippet and select it to use its text. Check the caption before saving or publishing.
- Use Edit and Save to update a snippet.
Expected result
Saved notes remain available when you reopen the panel in the same scope. Snippets provide reusable text for your captions.
Example
Keep a campaign brief in Notepad and save your usual booking call to action as a snippet.
Limits and permissions
A snippet name can be up to 50 characters and its text up to 10,000 characters. Each account can save up to 100 snippets in a workspace. Use Delete on a snippet and confirm to remove it. If no text field can receive a selected snippet, it is copied to your clipboard instead (Snippet copied).
- Notes are private working text and are not automatically part of the published caption.
- Clear removes the note’s text.
- Switching workspaces closes the panel and changes which notes and snippets are loaded.
Troubleshooting
- Not saved: check your connection before closing the panel.
- The note could not open: close the panel and try again; the editor stays read-only after a load failure.
- No snippets match your search: clear the search or use another name.
