Customize a link preview

The composer shows your chosen link preview. Saving the preview does not publish the post.
Before you start
Prepare a destination URL and select a supported social account.
Open the feature
Paste a link in Publish Content and wait for its preview. Choose Customize Link Preview.
Steps
- Review the fetched preview.
- Change Link Image, Link Title or Link Description in the customization form. Both title and description must contain text before you can save.
- Click Save, then inspect the account preview.
- Finish scheduling or saving the post separately. To attach the preview image as media instead, use Use as Image where offered.
Expected result
The composer shows your chosen link preview. Saving the preview does not publish the post.

Replace a campaign landing page’s preview image before scheduling its LinkedIn post.
Limits and permissions
- Link customization is offered for LinkedIn, and for Facebook Pages with verified domains. The verified-domain requirement applies to Facebook Pages.
- The destination network controls the final rendering.
Troubleshooting
- No preview is available: check that the URL is publicly accessible and retry.
- Customize Link Preview is missing: check the selected network and account type.
- The preview will not save: fill in both Link Title and Link Description.
