Browse content suggestions

Find articles to share by topic or from your saved feeds, then turn any article into a post.

Before you start

• Check you're in the right workspace.
• Connect the social accounts you want to share to.

Open the feature

Choose Publish in the left sidebar, then Suggestion.

Steps

1. Type a topic in What topic would you like suggestions on?, such as "Coffee". Or pick a feed from Your Suggestions or Our Suggestion on the left.
2. Choose a country and language from Language and Region to change where results come from.
3. Scroll through the articles. Click Read More or the article link to open the original.
4. To keep a topic's results for later, click Add RSS. The Add RSS Link window opens with the topic and feed link filled in. Check the values, then click Save. The feed appears under Your Suggestions.
5. Click Make a Post on an article. The composer opens with the article text and link.
6. Choose your accounts, edit the text, add an image if you want one, and choose When to post. See Create and schedule a post.

Expected result

A message tells you how many stories were found, followed by the articles. Each shows its title, a short summary and its Published On: date. Feeds you save appear under Your Suggestions with a count. Posts you create with Make a Post appear in Calendar like any other post.

Example

To share a coffee article on Facebook and Instagram, type "Coffee" in What topic would you like suggestions on? and click Make a Post on an article you like. Select your Facebook Page and Instagram account, then add a photo (Instagram needs one). Choose Schedule, pick a time and click Schedule.

Limits and permissions

• If you don't see Suggestion in the sidebar, your plan doesn't include it.
• Suggestion never posts on its own. To post new articles automatically, use Auto RSS. See Configure automatic RSS scheduling.
• Make a Post doesn't add the article's image. Add your own media in the composer.

Troubleshooting

• You see "We're still gathering fresh content for you": try a different topic or check back later.
• Results don't match your audience: change Language and Region.
• You want to remove a saved feed: click the trash icon (Remove) next to it under Your Suggestions, then click Yes, remove it!.
• You want to add your own feed: click Add RSS Link. See Connect an RSS feed.
