Connect your accounts as a client
On this page
Connect social accounts for the team that invited you without sharing your provider password.
Before you start
Accept the invitation using the invited email address. Have permission to manage the social accounts you want to connect.
Open the feature
Sign in and open Client Portal. In the current account-management area, Personal contains Account and Change Password; Social Accounts contains Manage Accounts.
Steps
- Open Social Accounts > Manage Accounts.
- Choose Add new social account and select a network.
- Complete the provider sign-in and permission prompts yourself.
- Select the permitted accounts and finish adding them.
- Check that the accounts appear. Return here to reconnect an expired connection.
Expected result
Connected accounts are available in the workspace assigned by the inviting team, within your client-account limit.
Example
Connect your business’s Facebook Page without sharing its password with your agency.
Client portal v2
When enabled for your agency and plan, the redesigned portal replaces the account-management navigation. It adds Home, Calendar, Post Approval and Analytics > Shared Reports. Manage connections under Settings > Social Accounts > Manage Accounts. The available cards, approval actions, report links and notifications remain limited to your assigned workspace and accounts. White-label branding depends on the agency’s active branding configuration.
Limits and permissions
- You can access only the workspace and accounts assigned by the inviting team.
- The administrator sets your social-account limit.
- Reconnect accounts you connected when their authorization expires.
- Adding a connection does not publish or approve a post.
- You can't create, publish, edit, reschedule, repost or retry posts, or save drafts, on the accounts in your client workspace. Your agency publishes them; you approve or decline.
- When you switch from another workspace back to one where you are a client, the app takes you back to the client menu, even if you were on a publishing page.
Troubleshooting
- You cannot add another account: ask the inviting team to check your limit.
- A profile is missing: check the provider login and management permissions.
- Calendar or reports are missing: those pages require the redesigned portal and the agency’s plan entitlement.
