Explore Demo Workspace
On this page
Try Social Champ with sample accounts and posts before connecting your own accounts.
Before you start
Sign in and look for Demo Workspace in the workspace selector. Availability depends on the demo rollout for your account.
Open the feature
Open the workspace selector in the header and choose Demo Workspace. You can also choose Explore Demo Workspace in the getting-started checklist when it is offered.
Steps
- Confirm that Demo Workspace is selected before making changes.
- Explore the sample dashboard, calendar, posts and analytics. Sample results are not your account’s performance.
- Use the demo composer and calendar to try supported draft, scheduling and arrangement actions. These save to demo data; they do not send posts to social networks.
- Try the sample Engage inbox and approval actions. They do not send customer replies or publish approvals.
- Open the workspace selector and choose Reset demo changes to restore the sample data. This discards demo edits and reloads the page.
- Choose Switch to real workspace, or select one of your real workspaces, to return to your own account data.
Expected result
You can explore supported features without changing your real workspace. Demo accounts do not start provider sign-in or store real connection tokens, and demo posts are not sent to publishing workers.
Example
Create a sample draft and change its time in the demo calendar, reset the demo, then leave it before working on a real campaign.
Limits and permissions
- Demo supports selected simulations and previews. Features that need real accounts, billing or external actions can ask you to switch to a real workspace.
- The dashboard’s AI Usage card is hidden in Demo Workspace.
- Leaving the demo switches context; it does not delete a real workspace. The demo cannot be edited or deleted through normal workspace settings.
- Reset changes only demo data. Check the selected workspace before making changes after leaving.
Troubleshooting
- Demo is missing: check whether it is offered in your workspace selector or getting-started checklist.
- An action asks you to switch: use a real workspace only when you intend to perform that real action.
- You cannot leave: the app needs another accessible workspace. Create one or ask support to reactivate yours if that is the message shown.
- Reset fails: retry after checking your connection; do not assume your edits were reset until the sample data reloads.
