Manage Accounts reflects the saved name, refreshed information or availability setting.

Before you start

Choose the workspace containing the account and use a role that can manage social accounts.

Open the feature

Open Settings > Workspace > Social Accounts.

Steps

  1. Find the account and open its row menu.
  2. Choose Change Name, update its Social Champ display name and save.
  3. Choose Re-sync where offered to refresh the connected profile’s information.
  4. If your plan separates Publish and Engage capacity, use the Publish or Engage controls in the menu to manage availability.
  5. Check the account’s status and feature availability after the change.

Expected result

Manage Accounts reflects the saved name, refreshed information or availability setting.

Example

Rename two test profiles so your team can distinguish them in Social Champ.

Limits and permissions

The row menu also includes View on Facebook (or the selected network) and, for eligible owners/team managers, Switch to X Suite. Re-sync is not offered for Facebook Groups, Google Play, personal Instagram accounts, App Store, G2 or TikTok Ads.

  • Re-sync is not offered for every network or account type.
  • A display-name change in Social Champ does not rename the account on its network.
  • Locked accounts and feature limits can prevent publishing or Engage use.

Troubleshooting

  • Re-sync is absent: use only the actions supported for that account type.
  • Authorization expired: reconnect the account; re-sync is not a replacement for signing in again.
