Make sure the assistant is working with the right workspace, accounts and brand voice before you ask it for anything.

Before you start

  • The assistant may not be available on your account yet.
  • Switch to the workspace you want the assistant to work in. It only sees that workspace's social accounts.

Open the feature

Press Ctrl + J (⌘ + J on Mac) to open the assistant panel. For brand settings, open the full-page chat with the full-screen icon at the top of the panel.

Steps

  1. Check the chips next to Seeing → at the top of the panel. They show the page you're on (for example Publish, Calendar or Dashboard), your workspace name and how many social accounts the assistant can see. On the full page, the same details appear in the header, along with your plan.
  2. If the workspace is wrong, switch workspace first. This clears the current chat and starts a new one.
  3. Start a new chat for each separate task. Click the new chat icon in the panel, or New chat on the full page.
  4. To pick up an earlier task, open the history icon in the panel and choose the chat. On the full page, choose it from the list on the left or use Search chats.
  5. To teach the assistant your brand voice, click Brand voice on the left of the full page, or the brand button in the header (Set up brand profile if you haven't set one up).
  6. Pick a channel, then select 3 to 10 posts that sound most like you; this range is recommended, not required. Click Auto-pick 5 to let it choose. Click Learn from N posts.
  7. In your prompt, name the network, audience and anything specific to this task, such as a date or an offer.

Expected result

The assistant replies using the workspace, accounts and brand profile shown at the top of the chat. After it learns your brand, the panel shows Updated channel brand profile, and new drafts follow that voice and style.

Example

You manage two clients in separate workspaces. Switch to the "Green Leaf Café" workspace and press Ctrl + J. Check that Seeing → shows "Green Leaf Café". Click the new chat icon and type "Write an Instagram caption for our new matcha latte, aimed at students". The draft uses this workspace's brand voice, not the other client's.

Limits and permissions

The picker recommends at least three reference posts; with one or two selected the button says Pick at least 3 posts. This is a recommendation, not a minimum-three validation rule. Keep Voice or Visual style enabled; both off prevents learning.

  • The brand profile is saved per channel. Set it up for each network you post to.
  • Learn from posts accepts any non-empty selection. The recommended range is 3 to 10 posts; larger selections can add noise. Re-learning replaces any manual edits you made to the brand profile.
  • The assistant only works with accounts in the current workspace. It can't act on accounts you don't have access to.
  • The AI Content Wizard has its own Brand voice setting. See Generate text with AI Content Wizard.

Troubleshooting

  • The reply mentions the wrong brand or account: don't use it. Check the workspace chip, start a new chat and ask again.
  • Your chat disappeared: you switched workspace. Switch back and find it in the chat history.
  • An account is missing from the count: check the account is in this workspace and connected. See Reconnect a social account.
  • No posts appear when you teach your brand: connect a profile for that channel, or pick a channel where you've already posted.
