Copy a brand profile to another workspace

Download a brand profile and import its supported fields into another workspace.

Before you start

Check both workspaces and ensure you are allowed to update the destination’s brand profile.

Open the feature

Open the assistant’s Brand voice panel in the source workspace.

Steps

1. Choose Download profile and keep the downloaded JSON file.
2. Switch to the destination workspace and reopen its Brand voice panel.
3. Choose Import profile and select the downloaded file.
4. Read the import preview. It lists the channels and shared brand fields that will be updated.
5. Choose Apply to update those fields, or Cancel to leave them unchanged.
6. Review the resulting profile and choose fresh reference posts or uploads in the destination workspace.

Expected result

Applying the import updates the supported voice, visual-style and shared brand fields shown in the preview.

Example

Copy an approved brand voice to a second workspace, then select that workspace’s own reference posts.

Limits and permissions

• Import can overwrite the destination fields listed in the preview.
• Reference posts and uploads do not carry across.
• Download profile appears when there is profile content to export.
• Importing a profile does not connect social accounts or publish posts.

Troubleshooting

• The file is rejected: use the .json file that Download profile created and read the validation error. Import profile does not take logos, images or brand-guideline documents. Where Upload guidelines appears under Brand guidelines, add a PDF, PPTX or PPT brand book there.
• Download is absent: set up the source profile first.
• Reference media is missing after import: select fresh references in the destination workspace.
