Sign up and sign in

Create a Social Champ account, or log in to the one you already have.

Before you start

• Use the email address you want for your Social Champ account. To sign up with an email and password, you need a password of 8 to 20 characters.
• If you created your account with Google, log in with Google too.

Open the feature

Go to the Social Champ login page. To create a new account, click Create an account.

Steps

1. To sign up with email, fill in Full name, Business Email and Create password, then click Sign up now.
2. To sign up with Google instead, click Sign up with Google and choose your Google account. If you see Create your Social Champ account, click Create account.
3. Open the verification email we send you and click its link. Then click Go to Login.
4. To log in, type your Email address and Password, then click Log in. If you use Google, click Continue with Google. If your company uses single sign-on, click Log in with SSO, type your Work email and click Continue with SSO.
5. If you've turned on two-factor authentication, type the 6-digit code from your authenticator app in MFA Code and click Sign In.

Expected result

After signing up you see You're in! Check your inbox to verify your email. After logging in, your Social Champ dashboard opens.

Example

To sign up with your work Google account, click Create an account, then Sign up with Google. Pick your work Google account and click Create account. Next time, click Continue with Google on the login page to get straight in. To publish to YouTube or a Google Business Profile, connect those separately as social accounts.

Limits and permissions

The two-factor screen also offers Use a recovery code and a Recovery Code field if you cannot use an authenticator code.

• Your password must be 8 to 20 characters, with at least one uppercase letter and one number or symbol.
• Logging in with Google doesn't connect any social accounts for posting. Add those from your dashboard.
• If your Google email matches an existing Social Champ account, you're asked to confirm that account's password before Google is linked. See Link a Google identity to your Social Champ account.
• If your company requires single sign-on, you must log in with Log in with SSO.

Troubleshooting

• You see "Oops! Verification Required": click Resend Email, then open the newest email and click its link.
• You see "This account was created with Google. Continue with Google.": click Continue with Google, or reset your password to add password login.
• You see "Please log in with SSO.": click Log in with SSO and use your work email.
• You see "Reactivate your account?": your account was set to be deleted. Click Reactivate my account to keep using it, or Not now to leave.
• You already have a Social Champ account under a different email: close the new-account prompt, return to the login page and sign in with that account's email and password or sign-in provider. Don't create a second account.
• An older email link stops working, or the mobile app asks you to sign in again: sign-in and email links expire. Request a new email from the login page, or sign in again.
• You forgot your password: click Forgot password? on the login page. See Reset a Social Champ password.
