Check preserved posts, automation and shared calendars after reactivating an account within its seven-day grace period.

Before you start

Complete account reactivation and sign in. Contact Support if you cannot reactivate. Reactivation does not reinstate a cancelled paid subscription or remove an independent plan, billing or queue restriction.

Open the feature

Open Calendar to review scheduled posts. Review your RSS feeds, Recycle campaigns and shared calendar settings separately.

Steps

  1. Check future posts in Calendar and verify their scheduled dates.
  2. Review any post whose scheduled time passed while the account was closed. These posts are not published automatically; they show as failed. Use Retry Now to publish one, or delete it.
  3. Check the RSS feeds and Recycle campaigns that were active before closure. Settings that were already paused stay paused. A feed or campaign left with no social accounts after a plan change stays paused until you add an account.
  4. Check your shared calendar links. Links paused by closure keep their original identity and settings after restoration.
  5. Resolve any remaining plan, billing, approval or queue restriction before expecting delivery.

Expected result

Closure preserves content during the grace period. Reactivation restores pauses created by account closure, and eligible future posts publish at their original time. Existing holds and pending approvals remain in force.

Example

A future post due tomorrow can resume its original schedule. A post due yesterday shows as failed until you retry or delete it. An RSS feed you paused before closure remains paused.

Limits and permissions

This applies to closure processed with the reversible workflow. Content already deleted by the previous workflow cannot be recovered by this change. Final deletion remains a separate operation after the grace period. Closing an account removes you from other teams' approval workflows; reactivation does not add you back, so ask those team owners to update their workflows. Confirm restoration before treating it as complete.

Troubleshooting

If restoration reports failure, contact Support with the action and time. Restoration can be retried; do not recreate or publish all posts to compensate. If a post remains held, review its billing, plan, approval and queue state.
