Review website visitors, traffic sources and audience breakdowns from a connected Google Analytics account.

Before you start

Connect Google Analytics and use a role with access to this analytics page.

Open the feature

Choose Analytics > Google Analytics.

Steps

  1. Select your connected Google Analytics account. If none is connected, use Add Google Analytics Account and complete the connection flow.
  2. Choose the date range.
  3. Review total visitors and traffic sources.
  4. Scroll through the available referral, country, city, browser, operating-system and page-view tables.
  5. Use sortable column headings to change the order where offered.

Expected result

The available charts and tables show the selected account and dates.

Example

After a campaign, choose its date range and compare the referral table with the website pages visitors opened.

Limits and permissions

  • Available metrics depend on the connected account and returned data.
  • Demo View shows sample results.
  • Website visitors are a different measure from social-network impressions.

Troubleshooting

  • The account needs authorization: reconnect it.
  • A chart has no data: check the account and date range before drawing conclusions.
  • The page does not open: ask your workspace admin to check your access.

Read the website sections

Review Total visitors and Traffic source, then the referral, country, city, browser and operating-system tables. Each table reports its own count and available comparison change. Use the numeric sortable column heading to change row order. Bounce rate appears when supplied, and page-view rows identify the website paths that were visited. These are website measurements, not publishing-post metrics.

The account picker can show a lock or reauthorization indicator. A locked property needs the appropriate plan/access; an unauthorized property needs reconnecting. Add Google Analytics Account starts a separate connection flow. Check which property is selected afterward. The Google Analytics reporting window is limited to the supported recent period; use dates the picker permits. Demo View uses sample website data and cannot prove that a real property is connected.
