Connect an integration
On this page
Connect a tool such as Google Drive, Canva, HubSpot or Bit.ly so you can use it inside Social Champ.
Before you start
- Sign in to the account you want to connect (for example, your Google or Dropbox account) in the same browser.
- Check you're in the right workspace. Integrations under Connected integrations belong to the workspace. Cloud Drives are shared across your whole account.
Open the feature
Open Settings in the left sidebar, then choose Workspace > Integrations. The Add Integration page opens.
Steps
- Find the integration on the page. Integrations are grouped under Connected integrations, Other available integrations and Cloud Drives.
- Click Connect on its card.
- Finish the step that opens. It depends on the integration:
- Google Drive: sign in to Google in the pop-up window and allow access.
- OneDrive, DropBox, Canva, HubSpot and Salesforce: sign in on the provider's page and allow access. You come back to Integrations when you're done.
- Google Analytics: you're taken to the page for adding a social account. Connect Google Analytics there.
- Bit.ly: you're taken to Link Shortening to set it up.
- Slack (pilot, when shown): approve the app in Slack, then choose the channels it may answer in. See Ask the assistant in Slack. The card's Learn more and the How it works? link in the Slack windows open the same Slack integration guide.
- Check the card. Its button now reads Connected.
Manage a connected integration
Open an integration's Manage panel to review connected accounts. Use Show in Engage where offered to control its presence in Engage. Use Disconnect only for the intended connection and review the confirmation; disconnecting can prevent future use of that integration.
The integration catalog also includes ChatGPT 4o. Its Connect action opens the AI Pro upgrade dialog, and its connected state reflects premium AI credits.
Expected result
The integration's card shows Connected, and you can use it where it belongs. For example, a connected cloud drive appears as a tab when you add media to a post.
Example
To add photos from Google Drive to a post, open Settings > Workspace > Integrations and click Connect on the Google Drive card. Sign in to Google in the pop-up and allow access. The card now shows Connected. Choose Publish, choose Image or video below the text box, then open the Google Drive tab and pick your photo.
Limits and permissions
Champ.ly appears under Connected integrations with an on/off switch. ChatGPT 4o opens the AI Pro upgrade dialog; its connected state reflects premium AI credits rather than a separate sign-in. HubSpot and Salesforce require an Enterprise plan.
- HubSpot and Salesforce require an Enterprise plan. If Connect is greyed out, hover over it to see why.
- Connecting an integration doesn't connect a social account for posting. To post to a network, see Connect a social account.
- To disconnect a cloud drive, click the settings icon at the top right of its card, then click Disconnect.
- To rename or add more accounts for an integration like HubSpot, click the settings icon on its card and use Add More.
Troubleshooting
- The card still says Connect after you allowed access: reload the page. If it still isn't connected, click Connect and try again.
- The Google pop-up didn't open: allow pop-ups for Social Champ in your browser, then click Connect again.
- You can't see a connected integration: switch to the workspace you connected it in. Only Cloud Drives show in every workspace.
- A drive stopped working in the composer: disconnect it from its card, then connect it again.
Connect GoHighLevel
Connect a GoHighLevel sub-account from its card, the same way as HubSpot and Salesforce. Choose the sub-account in GoHighLevel and approve every permission it asks for; an agency-level connection isn't supported. If GoHighLevel stops accepting the connection (for example the app was removed there), the card shows Reconnect. Connect the same sub-account again and your Engage links are kept. Use Show in Engage in its Manage panel to offer it in Engage. See Manage CRM records from Engage.
Connect Pipedrive
Connect a Pipedrive account from its card, the same way as HubSpot and Salesforce. Approve every permission Pipedrive asks for; they are accepted or declined together. If Pipedrive stops accepting the connection (for example the app was removed there), the card shows Reconnect. Connect the same account again and your Engage links are kept. Use Show in Engage in its Manage panel to offer it in Engage. See Manage CRM records from Engage.
Connect monday.com
Connect monday.com from its card. Sign in to monday.com, choose the account if you belong to more than one, and approve every permission it asks for: reading your profile and boards, and creating items. If monday.com stops accepting the connection (for example the app was removed there), the card shows Reconnect. Connect the same monday.com user again and your Engage links are kept. Disconnecting removes the links between your conversations and items; the items stay in monday.com. Use Show in Engage in its Manage panel to offer it in Engage. See Manage CRM records from Engage.
Connect Zoho CRM
Connect a Zoho CRM organization from its card; it is available on paid plans and trials, and on the Free plan the card offers Upgrade instead. Sign in to Zoho, choose the organization if Zoho asks, and approve the permissions it lists. Organizations in every Zoho data center we support can connect. If Zoho stops accepting the connection, the card shows Reconnect; connect the same organization again and your Engage links are kept. Disconnecting also ends Social Champ's access in Zoho; your Zoho records stay. Use Show in Engage in its Manage panel to offer it in Engage. See Manage CRM records from Engage.
