The report shows the available paid-campaign performance for the selected LinkedIn Ads account and period.

Before you start

Connect a LinkedIn Ads account and select a workspace and role with analytics access.

Open the feature

Open Analytics > Overview and select the LinkedIn Ads account.

Steps

  1. Choose the date range to review.
  2. Read the overview metrics and trend for the selected period.
  3. Review Campaigns to compare campaign spend, impressions and clicks.
  4. Compare results using the same account, currency and date range.

Expected result

The report shows the available paid-campaign performance for the selected LinkedIn Ads account and period.

Example

Compare two campaigns’ spend and clicks over the same month.

Limits and permissions

  • LinkedIn Ads is a separate connected account from an organic LinkedIn profile or Page.
  • Reported metrics depend on the provider’s available data and permissions.

Troubleshooting

  • The report is empty: check the date range, connected ad account and whether campaigns had activity.
  • Authorization failed: reconnect the ad account with the required provider access.

Check paid-report scope

Selecting a LinkedIn Ads account opens the paid-report view rather than the ordinary organic graphs. Review its summary/trend before comparing Campaigns rows. Keep account, currency and dates consistent when comparing spend with impressions and clicks. A connected organic LinkedIn Page does not grant access to its advertising account, and a blank paid report does not establish that its organic posts had no activity.
