Use a connected AI client to review your calendar, prepare content and perform supported publishing tasks.

Before you start

  • Connect your AI client and check the account and permissions it uses.
  • Name the workspace and social profiles in each request. Include dates and a timezone when working with a schedule.
  • Client capabilities differ. Attaching a file to a chat does not necessarily upload it to Social Champ.

Open the feature

Open your connected AI client's conversation and enable its Social Champ connection. Start by asking it to list the workspaces and social profiles it can access, then select the intended ones.

Steps

Review a calendar or share it

  1. Ask for a calendar summary or scheduled posts for named profiles and a date range. Ask for subsequent pages when reviewing a long list.
  2. Ask to include calendar events, queue slots or post metrics if you need them. A count of scheduled posts is different from a list of events or a performance report.
  3. Ask for a link to the post or calendar in Social Champ to inspect the result yourself.
  4. To share a calendar, ask the client to list existing links first. Before creating or changing a public calendar link, review its profiles, dates and visibility options. Share the resulting link only with the intended recipients. Delete the shared link when access is no longer needed.

Prepare media and content

  1. Ask for a draft, rewrite or hashtag suggestions, naming the target network and desired tone. Review the generated content before asking the client to create or update a post.
  2. To use a local image or video, ask the client to upload it to Social Champ's Media Library. This requires a client that can read the file and perform the upload. Otherwise, use the Media Library in the dashboard or import an appropriate publicly accessible media URL.
  3. Wait for upload completion and check the saved asset. An upload being prepared is not a completed library item.
  4. State whether you want a draft or a scheduled post. For scheduling, give the date, time and timezone, then check the returned post status and Calendar. Generating text or saving media alone does not publish a post.

The external upload flow accepts JPG, PNG, GIF, MP4 and MOV files up to 200 MB. Network publishing restrictions can be tighter. A private or login-protected media URL cannot be imported as a public URL.

Create or edit a Pinterest pin

  1. When you create a pin, tell the client the title (up to 100 characters), the destination link and the alt text (up to 500 characters). Without a link, a link written in the post text is used. They apply to Pinterest boards only; other profiles in the same request ignore them. They are also kept when the request saves a draft.
  2. When you edit a pin, ask only for what should change. Its title, link and alt text stay as they were unless you give new ones. Editing a post’s caption through the client no longer removes the link or title it was scheduled with.
  3. If you replace the pin's image, give new alt text with it: the old alt text is cleared because it described the previous image. With several images, the alt text describes the first one.
  4. Open the pin in Calendar and check the title, link and alt text before it publishes.

Manage queues, labels and Recycle

  • Pause or resume: name the profiles. Pausing holds upcoming posts and prevents new scheduling on those profiles. Resuming removes the user pause, but a billing restriction can still prevent publishing; inspect the reported result and calendar.
  • Reorder: ask to review the queued posts first, then specify the intended order and check the result.
  • Clear: this deletes upcoming scheduled posts and cancels their publishing jobs. Request a preview count with explicit profiles and dates first. Confirm deletion only with the same filters. Clearing is irreversible; use pause if you only need a temporary stop.
  • Labels: ask for the workspace's labels, then name the post and label to apply or remove. If creating a label, make that request explicit. Bulk label operations need the optional approval/agency permission.
  • Recycle: list the available collections, select one by name, then ask to copy the intended post into it. Confirm the selected collection; its campaign configuration controls reuse. If no collection exists, create one in Social Champ first.

Review posts awaiting approval

  1. Use an Owner connection with approval workflows enabled.
  2. Ask for posts awaiting approval for the intended profiles and review the content and active workflow stage.
  3. State the exact post and decision. Approval still requires the connected account to be an approver for the current stage. Specify the intended publishing time when approving the final stage, since approval can move the post into publishing.
  4. Check the updated status. A rejection can include a comment explaining the change needed.
  5. To remind reviewers, ask to send an approval reminder for the post. It notifies the stage's configured approvers; it does not assign a new approver. Reminders are limited to one per hour per post.

Expected result

Read requests return information; successful changes appear in the corresponding Social Champ screen. Review each result separately when a request affects several posts or profiles. Do not treat an AI reply describing a plan as proof that an action completed.

Example

Ask: "Show next week's scheduled posts for Green Leaf's Facebook Page in the café workspace, using Asia/Karachi time. Include links so I can review them. Don't change anything." After reviewing them, request a specific edit with the post identified.

Limits and permissions

  • The external connection has its own available actions. It does not expose every built-in assistant capability, including paid-ad campaign management.
  • Approval and certain bulk agency actions require an Owner connection with the optional permission. Permission does not bypass workflow, workspace, plan or social-network restrictions.
  • For schedule reads filtered by status or errors, provide start and end dates no more than 93 days apart.
  • Always name profiles for a pause or resumption: omitting profiles can affect every accessible profile in the resolved workspace.

Troubleshooting

  • The client cannot upload a local file: upload through Social Champ's Media Library, or use a public media URL you are authorized to share.
  • The queue remains held after resuming: check the reported billing restrictions and resolve them before expecting posts to publish.
  • An approval action is unavailable: check Owner access and consent permissions, then the active workflow's approvers.
  • Only some changes succeeded: check each post in Social Champ and retry only failed items to avoid duplicates.
  • A clear request only returns a count: that is the preview. Review its scope before explicitly confirming deletion.
