Manage notification preferences

Choose which emails and in-app notifications Social Champ sends you, such as alerts for failed posts or posts waiting for approval.

Before you start

• These preferences belong to your own login. Your teammates set their own.

Open the feature

Open Settings in the left sidebar, then choose Personal > Notification Settings.

Steps

1. Under Email Notifications, find the emails you want to change:
   • Post Failure: a post in your queue fails to publish.
   • Post Approval: a team member submits a post for approval.
   • Account Expiry: your social accounts are about to expire.
   • Draft: a team member creates a shared draft.
   • Draft reminders: a draft you set a reminder on is coming up.
2. Click the switch next to each one to turn it on or off.
3. Under In-App Notifications, do the same for the alerts you see inside Social Champ: Team related notifications, Post Failure, Post Approval, Engage, Draft, Draft reminders, Notes, Account Expiry, Creators and Ads Notification.
4. To turn all in-app notifications on or off at once, use the switch next to the In-App Notifications heading.

Creators covers creator activity such as submitted drafts, client decisions, captured posts, overdue deliverables and invoices. The switch only appears when Creators is available for your account. If you don't see it, Creators isn't turned on for you yet.

Choose mobile reminder timing

Under Mobile Reminders, use Reminder timing when available to workspace administrators. Check the workspace named beside the control, then choose a timing. The selection saves immediately; wait for Your reminder timing has been saved. This setting applies to reminder posts throughout that workspace and does not change their scheduled publishing times. If saving fails, the previous timing is restored; try again after checking the error.

Expected result

Each change saves straight away and you see Your preference has been saved. The switch shows Enabled or Disabled, and Social Champ only sends you the notifications you left on.

Example

You only want emails when something goes wrong. Open Settings > Personal > Notification Settings. Under Email Notifications, leave Post Failure and Account Expiry on, and switch off Post Approval, Draft and Draft reminders. Each switch now shows Disabled.

Limits and permissions

• Email and in-app notifications are set separately. Turning off an email doesn't turn off the matching in-app alert.
• Some notifications only apply if you use the feature. For example, Post Approval only matters if your workspace uses approvals.

Troubleshooting

• A switch flipped back after you clicked it: the change didn't save. Reload the page and try again.
• You're not getting emails you turned on: check your spam or junk folder, and add Social Champ to your safe senders.
• You still get an email you turned off: check you changed it under Email Notifications, not In-App Notifications.
