Plan your Instagram or TikTok grid

Grid view previews the account’s media arrangement. Reordering eligible scheduled posts changes their planned order; it does not rearrange posts already published on the network.

Before you start

Select a supported Instagram or TikTok account with posts containing media.

Open the feature

Open Calendar or Publish > Queue and choose Grid view where available.

Steps

1. Select the account whose grid you want to inspect.
2. Click a tile to inspect the post and its status. Hover over the status badge on a tile that is Pending or waiting for approval to read why it has not gone out.
3. Drag a movable scheduled tile to the intended position and review the resulting schedule change.
4. Confirm the saved times in Calendar after reordering.

Limits and permissions

Dragging swaps two eligible posts’ scheduled slots. It does not move only one tile. Authors can only swap posts they created; other posts show With the Author role, you can only swap posts you created.

• Published posts, drafts, recycle posts and forever-repeat posts cannot be dragged in this grid.

• Network layout and thumbnail rendering can differ from the preview.

• A trial reel carries a Trial reel label in the top left of its tile. A version of a reel test reads Test version A, B or C. See Test reel versions.

Troubleshooting

• Grid view is unavailable: select a supported account.
• A tile cannot move: check its status and whether it belongs to a recycle or forever-repeat schedule.
