See every client's Meta, Google Search, TikTok and LinkedIn campaigns in one list, with the state each network last confirmed, spend, budget and the monthly allowance left.

Before you start

  • Ads is rolling out. If Ads isn't in the left menu, or under More (three dots) in it on a short window, it isn't on for your account yet.
  • Your plan must include Ads. Without it, Ads shows what it includes and a See plans button.
  • Every team member except client roles can see Ads.
  • Add at least one client's ad account first. See Add a client's ad account.

Open the feature

Click Ads in the left menu. On a short window it may be under More (three dots). Campaigns opens.

Steps

  1. Read the four tiles at the top: spend counted against this month's allowance, spend billed today, Live campaigns and Needs attention.
  2. Click Live campaigns or Needs attention to show only those campaigns.
  3. Switch between Active and paused, Live and Ended.
  4. Click Filter By to narrow the list by client, network, state or where the campaign was launched (Ads module, Switch, or Publish (before Ads)).
  5. Use the switch in a row to pause or resume, or the ⋮ menu for more actions. Click a row to open the campaign.
  6. To pause everything at once, click Stop all campaigns at the bottom of the Ads menu. See Stop all campaigns.

Expected result

Each row shows the campaign's state and, under it, when the network last confirmed that state. A campaign shows Live only after the network confirms it.

Example

An agency manages a juice bar and a travel company. On Monday it opens Ads, clicks Needs attention, and sees one campaign marked Auto-paused because its spend jumped. It opens the campaign, lowers the budget and resumes it.

Limits and permissions

  • Ads covers Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google Search, TikTok and LinkedIn. X boosts stay in the Boost window in Publish.
  • Anyone who can view Ads can pause a campaign or use Stop all campaigns. Only the account owner and Admins can launch, resume, change budgets and end. See Who can spend on ads.
  • Figures come from the networks. -- means the network didn't return a value, not zero.
  • Amounts in different currencies are listed separately and never added together.

States

  • In review: sent to the network and waiting for its review. Nothing is spent yet.
  • Live: the network confirmed it is running.
  • Paused / Auto-paused: paused by someone, or by spend protection.
  • State unknown: the network hasn't answered for over 45 minutes. Assume it's still spending.
  • No access: access to the ad account was lost. The campaign may still be running at the network.
  • Waiting for post: a boost that is sent when its post publishes.
  • Draft: saved, not sent. Failed to launch: the network didn't accept it and nothing was spent.

Stop all campaigns

Stop all campaigns pauses every live and in-review campaign that was started in Social Champ, for all clients or the one you choose. Boosts waiting for their post are cancelled. Campaigns your team runs directly in the networks' own ads tools keep running. The results list each campaign as paused, or still running when the network didn't confirm, with a link to stop it at the network.

Troubleshooting

  • A banner says access to an ad account was lost: ask the client to add your agency back to the ad account, then click Restore access. Until then, stop its campaigns at the network with the link in the banner.
  • A network hasn't answered: its campaigns show their last confirmed state. Try pausing or changing them again once it answers.
  • You can't launch: only the account owner and Admins can. Ask the owner to make you Admin in that client's workspace.
