Request a higher monthly allowance

Each ad account has a monthly allowance that limits how much campaigns started in Social Champ can spend on it. Ask Social Champ support to raise it when a client approves more spend.

Before you start

You need to be the account owner or an Admin in the client's workspace.

Open the feature

Click Ads > Ad accounts, open the account's ⋮ menu and choose Request higher allowance. It's also offered where a campaign is blocked by the allowance.

Steps

1. Enter the New monthly allowance. It must be more than the current one.
2. Under Why the client needs it, explain, for example a seasonal campaign the client approved.
3. Click Send request.

Expected result

The account shows Increase to … requested. Support reviews it. The decision and their note show under Allowance history on Ad accounts. Approved allowances apply straight away. Every change is listed under Allowance history.

Example

The fashion client approved $40,000 for November. You request $40,000 for its Meta ad account with that reason.

Limits and permissions

• The allowance resets on the 1st of each month (UTC).
• One request per ad account can wait at a time.
• The allowance counts the budgets campaigns committed this month, including boosts started in Publish on the same ad account. What the network billed is shown beside it.
• Boosts started in the Boost window in Publish aren't counted.

Troubleshooting

• "A request for this ad account is already waiting for support": wait for the decision before sending another.
• "This amount can't be used in …": use a whole amount the network accepts for that currency.
