Check AI allowances without mixing different types of usage.

Before you start

Sign in as the account owner and open the intended account. The AI Usage card is hidden for team members and in Demo Workspace. AI Usage is account-wide; switching the dashboard workspace or report dates does not turn it into workspace usage.

Open the feature

Choose Home and find AI Usage. The card is not offered in Customize for team members or Demo Workspace.

Steps

  1. Read the assistant-turn meter, whose name follows your account's assistant name.
  2. Read AI Wizard text generation separately from AI Wizard image generation.
  3. Check each meter's allowance and reset date when supplied.
  4. Use Open AI usage for details if available to your role.
  5. When offered, use Connect your AI key to open Settings > Workspace > Switch AI Keys. Review that screen's requirements before changing the key.

Expected result

You can identify which allowance is available or depleted. One depleted or unreadable meter does not make the other two depleted.

Example

If image generation is depleted but text generation has remaining capacity, the text meter still shows its own allowance. Do not add image, text and turn counts to invent a total credit balance.

Limits and permissions

  • AI Suggested Time uses the account’s AI Wizard text allowance, one credit per requested platform. Regenerating one platform uses one credit. Connecting your own GPT key does not bypass this time-suggestion allowance.

  • A near-limit notice begins at 80% usage; each allowance has its own reset information.

  • Unmetered or a connected-key indicator means that meter has no ordinary plan denominator. It does not mean every AI feature is unlimited.

  • AI keys belong to a workspace. The connected-key indicator reflects the key for the workspace you're working in, or an account-wide key. The usage numbers stay account-wide.

  • Not on your plan differs from Unavailable, which means the usage could not be read.

  • Only account owners see this card; team members cannot enable it from Customize.

  • Sample mode shows examples, not actual remaining allowance.

Troubleshooting

  • AI usage unavailable: choose Retry. A read failure does not spend or remove your allowance.
  • One grey meter: let it reload; other readable meters remain independently useful.
  • The connected-key indicator doesn't match the workspace you switched to: reload the page. AI keys belong to a workspace, and the card reads them when it loads.
  • No reset date: do not infer one from another meter. Open AI usage for the available account detail.
  • AI not included: use See plans if you manage billing, or ask an owner.
