Customize your dashboard layout
On this page
Arrange the dashboard around the work you check most often.
Before you start
Open Home in a real workspace. Customization is unavailable in Demo Workspace. Turn off sample data if you want to inspect your real work while arranging cards.
Open the feature
Choose Home, then Customize.
Steps
- Use a section's switch to show or hide it.
- Drag its handle in the Customize panel to reorder sections.
- Where card-layout controls are available, hover over a card to find its move handle. Drag the handle to reposition it.
- Drag a card's edge or corner to resize it. The layout adjusts to the available screen width.
- Choose Done to close the panel and check for a save warning.
- If saving fails, use Retry. If loading your saved layout fails, retry loading before making more changes.
Use the keyboard
In the card-layout experience, focus the card's Move button. Left or Up moves it earlier; Right or Down moves it later. At desktop four-column width, Shift+Left narrows the card and Shift+Right widens it. Shift+Up/Down do not resize it. A card cannot move past the first or last position. The width shortcut is unavailable when the responsive grid has fewer columns.
Expected result
Visible cards follow your arrangement. Resizing can change how many rows fit inside a list card; use its full-screen destination to inspect the rest.
Example
Move Needs Attention above Performance, widen Upcoming posts and hide a card you do not use. Open Calendar when you need more upcoming posts than fit on the card.
Limits and permissions
- The assistant box stays at the top and is not a customizable card.
- The newer card-layout experience saves per signed-in viewer/account context. Older section customization is browser-local. Check the same account and experience when comparing browsers.
- Reset layout or Reset to default restores the arrangement. It does not delete product data.
- A new card can appear after a product update even if you customized older cards.
- Hiding a card does not revoke access to its feature or stop its background work.
Troubleshooting
- Card missing: turn its section on, then check your plan/module access and whether the card has any active issue to show.
- Resize unavailable: your experience may offer section order/visibility only, or the screen may be too narrow for desktop width controls.
- Layout did not persist: use the save/load warning's Retry action. Visible movement alone is not evidence of a successful save.
